Carry-on Must Haves

By April 28, 2019 June 12th, 2019 No Comments

I’ve been somewhat of a jet setter lately, and as thankful as I am for this, it can really get exhausting. So as I pack, unpack, pack, and unpack again, I have found a new love for all the things I decide to carry on these trips. I always was a fan of checking a bag no matter what type of trip I was going on, but as of lately I decided more against this if I don’t find the need to REALLY have one. When I leave my vacation, I always laugh at myself for not using/wearing most of what I decided on taking with me. Recently, however, I’ve been trying to cut back on how much I pack and when I bring my carry on I pick and choose exactly what I need because let’s face it, it’s important to know what’s most important to you when you travel. whether it be a weekend get away or a long distance excursion, I have many things that are a necessity for both.

Heys brand Bianco Stone-Print Hardside Luggage Collection
This is the best carry on I’ve ever used, it’s chic marble cover and super spacious inside is all a jet-setter needs! I recommend buying this suitcase from Macy’s because most coupons apply, and you know Macy’s always has the best sales!

The iPad + iPad pencil
Okay, this might come off as a no-brainer, but really, the iPad pencil changed my traveling experience. I use it to jot down my ideas, take notes on upcoming projects and set reminders. It’s a lot easier for me than going to Notes on my phone and typing it all out. Having the iPad pencil gives me the ability to create charts, move info around, change the color, draw arrows, you name it.

Dry Bar Travel Hair
Do not take a hair dryer for granted, ladies and gents! Drybar’s Baby Buttercup Travel Blow-Dryer is an easy fit in my carry on and a time saver. If you have thick hair like me (Thanks, Sugar Bear Hair Vitamins) it takes a few extra minutes to really make your hair completely dry, and using a cheap hotel hair dryer makings those “extra few minutes” more like a half hour. Most hotels have a hairdryer, sure, but it’s usually not up to par with what we have in our homes and it’s always a pain packing a large hairdryer you typically already use. No fear, the Baby Buttercup is ready to go wherever you go.

Rose Water Spray
I always carry my rose water spray with me, one of my favorites being the Mario Badescu Facial Spray With Aloe, Herbs and Rosewater
During a layover, especially, I run to the bathroom and give this beauty a sprits immediately on my face. Not only does it refresh me but it replenishes the hydration of my skin and sets my makeup after I touch it up!

Tan Towel Self-Tan Towelettes
Okay, this is the definition of the phrase a little goes a long way. These towels  add that extra glow for your beach vacation pictures. They help fight breakouts and also keep that skin moisturized, and we all know dry skin is the worst thing to have when it comes to tanning lotion. I always feel that a wipe is better than a small bottle of lotion/liquid when it comest to packing for toiletries, so pack these in a makeup bag and you are good to go!
